Applied Behavior Analysis
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically based treatment approach that has proven itself through extensive research to be an effective treatment in many different areas, but especially in Autism, Developmental Disabilities, and Intellectual Deficiencies.
Behavior Analysis is also the basis of the vast majority of evidenced based practices for the treatment of other psychiatric conditions. My therapy approach for all areas is based on my extensive background in applied behavior analysis. My coaching, counseling, and therapy use approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, and other "Third Wave" behavioral approaches.

If you have insurance under UBH (United Behavioral Health) AND treatment for Autism is a covered benefit, Behavioral Health may be an in network provider for services under your insurance. Please contact your benefit administrator or Behavioral Health..., PLLC to help you determine if your situation is covered and can access the services of Behavioral Health under your benefit plan.
PBH SPECIALIZED CONSULTATION SERVICES
For residents of the Cabarrus, Davidson, Rowan, Stanly and Union Counties:
If you or a consumer you care about are a participant in Piedmont Behavioral Healthcare's Innovations Waiver, you may be interested in the service called Specialized Consultation. Dr. Quinn can provide a family or other caregivers assistance in developing effective behavior plans to increase adaptive behaviors or reduce maladaptive behaviors. This service is a Medicaid Waiver service and will be provided through the consumer's Innovations benefit.

For residents of Mecklenburg or other areas outside of the PBH waiver in NC:
If you or someone you care about are participants in a CAP-DD program, you may be eligible for Behavioral Consultation, which is another program for the same service described above. I do not provide Behavioral Consultation, but you may be able to contact your Case Manage to find a provider who does.
